TRADITIONAL IS HARD. man! this thing was brutal. I've done acrylics before, and thats usually not too bad, because you can layer paint on top of it, whenever you make a mistake. But Watercolors?! Their one true purpose is to toy with your feelings, they point and laugh as you cry with your brush in hand, as you try and figure out why the paint didn't go where it was supposed to.
Painting from light to dark, layering paint , and making sure you don't cover the white is extremely challenging. It probably saves more time if you pre-plan this stuff more. Regardless, It was very fun, and I learned a lot. I used a couple of different things, like water colors, watered down acrylics, inks, and colored pencils. My computer is down, so I've just been entertaining myself doing these traditional pieces.
I'm hoping that once I get my new computer, I'll be able to tweak this a little bit. But for now, this is the raw scan.
btw, Link never gets boring to draw.
